Large skylights along with overhead lighting keep the place bright. A large air exchange system constantly brings in fresh outside air. Two large heaters keep us warm in the winter and two air conditioners keep us cool in the hot summer months. Cleanliness and lots of Tender Loving Care are the keys to making your pets stay with us happy and comfortable. We encourage you to come in and tour our facility.
Each dog is taken out individually three times a day.
This gives us the opportunity to handle each dog, watch its movement and observe its overall personality and attitude.
When dogs are taken out in groups you can not focus on each dog. Many boarding facilities do exercise the dogs this way.
We prefer a more personal approach.
We do offer a community play time which is in addition to the 3 regular outings, but only if we have multiple customers requesting this
and we are sure the temperments & sizes of the dogs will work well together.
RUN SIZES
Run sizes range from 4' x 9' to 4' x 18'.
Each run has a raised pallet w/bedding for sleeping and stainless steel bowls.
We are in the process of changing out our pallets to the Kuranda Dog Beds for more comfort.
We also have a few theme suites available that are much larger.
Our latest project is applying a rubber type coating to the floors of the dog runs. This is a slow
process as once we start on a section of runs it takes almost 7 days before we are able to use those runs again.
The dogs really seam to enjoy this surface and it gives good traction for the older dogs getting up and down.
We are working to have all the runs done sometime in 2010.
SUMMER MONTHS ONLY - POOL PARTY!
We have put in a pool for the dogs to play and swim in during those hot dog days of summer.
Not pictured but now finished is a deck around the pool with a ramp for the dogs to go in and out of the water.
If you dog loves water, ask for a Buddy Time or Pool Time.
EXTRA WALK or "OUT" TIME:
Instead of 3 outings per day (standard) you can schedule as many as you would like for an additional fee.
CANINE "BUDDY TIME":
This is an additional outing of 30 minutes, in our 1/4+ acre yard. Any dogs boarding together go out together.
Buddy Time includes: chasing balls, playing tug, getting hug's and
belly rubs, or whatever special attention your VIP enjoys.
This can be broken up into two 15 minutes sessions and spread over a couple of days.
THEME SUITES
These range in size from 9' X 10' to 10' X 13'.
Barking Sands, Field & Stream and the Ball Room
These are available by reservation only.
Included are the regular 3 outings per
day plus a 15 minute Buddy
Time
in the 1/4 acre yard each day.
Prices vary depending on the number of dogs being boarded.
