What are your business hours? What kind of food do you feed & how often do you feed? Is someone there all the time? Can I board my dog and cat in the same run together? Will my pet be put in with someone else's pet/s? My pet is aggressive, will you board it? My dog is a fence climber. My pet is scared of loud noise, thunder etc. Do you do pet day-care?. Do you tranquilize the pets? If needed will you contact My veterinarian or another? Can my dog have extra play time? Can I check my pet In/Out outside of regular business hours? Are you open on Holidays? What are your daily boarding rates? What vaccinations do you require? Can I cancel my reservations? Can I bring my pet's bed/crate? Can I bring my pet's toys? Can I bring my pet's food dishes? Can I bring my pet's own food? My pet is on medication, will you give it? Can someone else pick my pet up for me? I have a family emergency is there anyway of checking my pet in after hours ? Can I cancel my reservation? Yes, you can. We do ask that you give us at least a 24 hour notice of cancellation to avoid being charged. Often times we are turning customers away when in fact we could have taken them had the customer called and canceled their reservation instead of just not showing up. Yes, you can bring your pets bedding as long as it is machine washable. If you bring a pillow and your pet starts to chew it up we will take it away. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate that is fine also, if it is a small pet. If you have a medium or large dog we ask that you bring just the bottom half of the crate for the dog to lay in. Often times large dogs will jump up on top of the crate and then intimidate the dogs around it. Back to Top Can I bring my own pets toys? Yes, you can. Back to Top Can I bring my own pets bowls? Yes, but we do prefer to use our own stainless steel food and water bowls. Glass or ceramic bowls are not allowed. Back to Top What kind of food do you feed & how often? We feed only Quality pet foods for dogs & cats. We generally feed twice a day unless you specify otherwise. Some people like to feed their pets once a day and some up to three times a day. Just let us know how you want your pet fed. Back to Top Is someone there all the time? Someone is on the grounds 24 hours a day, however on occasion we might go out to dinner or the movies etc, at which time we might be away for an hour or two. Back to Top Can I bring my own pets food? Yes. We understand that some pets are on special diets, or have sensitive stomaches and do not do well with a change of diet. We do ask that you ONLY bring as much food as your pet will need for his/her stay. Please do not bring in a 20lb or 40lb bag of food for just a couple of days stay. Please... This is an emergency line only. If this service is abused the number will be changed and the service no longer be offered. Please be considerate. Back to Top Can my dog and cat be together? Sorry, but dogs and cats are boarded in separate areas of the facility. A cat in the dog area would probably be very scared of all the strange dogs and vise versa. Back to Top Will my pet be in with someone else's pets? No, only your own pets will be roomed together. We do not allow pets from multiple families to room or play together unless requested by both families. Back to Top My pet is aggressive. Each case is handled individually. After we talk to you at great length we will make a decision about boarding your pet. We will not take a chance on an employee getting bitten or hurt. Back to Top My dog is a fence climber. For those dogs that are fence climbers we have covered runs available. When making your reservations or checking in be sure to let us know. Back to Top My pet is scared of thunder and loud noises. For those dogs scared of loud noises, we will put them in covered runs. We might also suggest that YOU get some type of sedative from your veterinarian if boarding over the 4th of July or during stormy weather season. Back to Top Do you offer Day Care services? We do offer day care. Check out our Rates page for Day care Fees. If we had to let you in or out outside of regular business hours there could be an additional charge. Back to Top Do you tranquilize the pets? We will only give pets tranquilizers if you bring them with you and want them given, or if for some reason we have to take your pet to the veterinarian and he prescribes them. We do not keep tranquilizers on hand here...you must bring them with you. There is an additional $.50 charge per time given. Back to Top Can someone else pick my pet up for me? If you want to have someone else pick up your pet, you must leave us the person's name. Also, if you have not prepaid the boarding charges, whoever picks your pet up will have to pay at that time. Back to Top If needed will you contact MY veterinarian? IF we feel your pet needs veterinarian care we will always make a very strong attempt to contact YOUR pets veterinarian. Only if it should be an emergency and we can not get through to your veterinarian will we contact another veterinarian. Back to Top Can my dog have extra play times ? YES.
